Blepharitis and Dry Eye Clinic
Dry Eye is one of the most under-diagnosed ocular diseases, but it is the most common reason why patients see an eye care professional.
Do you experience problems such as, uncomfortable, irritable eyes? You may have redness and inflammation at the lid margins, and/or a dandruff-like appearance on your lashes. Lashes may appear oily and slimy. Vision may be variable. Eyes may feel burning, stingy, gritty or even watery. If your answer is yes, then you need relief!
We offer a thorough evaluation to diagnose the problem and then effective treatment options to alleviate them.
Did you know that, in the same way that plaque builds up in your mouth, there is a biofilm that grows along the margins of your eyelids? Made up of micro-organisms such as bacteria and demodex, keratin, oils from the glands in the eyelids and skin, dead skin cells and dirt, it grows over time.
